Lauren Flood
Lauren Flood is excited to return to the SynchroniCity Summer Intensive, but this time as an instructor! Lauren has been dancing for 24 years and began her training at the Bowman School of Dance in Cherry Hill, NJ. There she studied styles such as ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and modern. She was also a member of the Teresa Andris Dancers dance company, performing at venues and showcases throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.
While earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University, Lauren stayed active in the dance community through the Colleges of the Fenway Dance Ensemble taking tap and hip-hop classes and choreographing three original pieces before graduating in 2023. Today, she works as an ambulatory care pharmacist with Beth Israel Lahey Health while continuing to pursue her passion for dance. Lauren has trained with renowned choreographers across the country including Alexander Chung, CJ Salvador, and Matt Steffanina, and continues to take classes with Boston-area hip-hop groups. She can’t wait to share her energy and creativity through the jazz funk class for SDC summer intensive!
