Katie Pustizzi, MFA is an Interdisciplinary Movement Artist in the greater Boston area. She is the Director of Liquid Spine and the former Founder/Artistic Director of Aurora Borealis Dance Company.

Katie is deeply interested in international exchange as a form of artistic research and connection.  Her research, teaching, and performance have taken her across the globe. She has spent extensive time creating and performing in Italy, most notably with Senza Confini Di Pelle. She also curates the work of international screendance artists through Liquid Spine's FOR THIS EARTH - Screendance Festival. 

Katie is on faculty at numerous colleges in Massachusetts where she teaches contemporary, screendance, and improvisational movement forms. She is deeply committed to creating radically inclusive and inspiring spaces for students to explore and grow.
