Kristen Duffy Young

Kristen Duffy Young is the founder and Director of the Colleges of the Fenway Dance Ensemble, a college dance program with over 200 students per year, beginning in 2006. She has also instructed courses at Salem State University, Emmanuel College, and the Longy School of Music.

As a dance artist, Kristen is the co-founder of Accumulation Dance with Meghan McLyman, creating and performing across New England, New York and Washington. They have received grants from the Boston Foundation, New England Foundation for the Arts, and Boston Center for the Arts. She has also performed with Bosoma Dance, Weber Dance, Bill Evans, Carey McKinley, and Julie Pike Edmond and served on the board of the Massachusetts Dance Education Organization. Kristen received an MFA from Goddard College, BA and BBA from UMass Amherst, CMA from the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, and RYT-200 Certification through Yoga of Energy Flow.
